I really do love the night-time. My family and friends say that when the sun sets, I come to life. I love watching the stars, planets, and moon. I don't want this song to give the wrong picture of the night. My goal for this song is that it would reveal that losing our glimmer of hope is when we stumble. Life can leave us in the dark. But when we're bored by the stars and other miracles in life enough to give up hope and become jaded, then we know that we've been relying on our own powers to get through. Sometimes, we just need to pray like David and ask God to crash in with a whisper and Floodlight our lives.
